Life in general can be many things. At times it is wonderful and everything is smooth and beautiful. Then the tides can turn and life can be as hard as a uncut diamond, rough and unrefined. Sometimes the best thing to do is sit back and let life either slow down or speed up around you. At times you have to cut those rough edges off in order to let the beauty of life shine and sparkle. It can be quite painful at times to sand down the rough spots. But once you get there, to that smooth, shiny wonderful moment the pain of getting there often fades away in the moment. And life can once again be enjoyed.
