Life with Cat and Dog
Here is a common picture around our house right now. If Grayson even looks at the water bowl, Bobba puts up the "Bobba Barrier" to protect her food dish. Bobba is very good at this and I am certain that she has an extra sense to know when Grayson is getting too close to the food dish. She can stand guard at the drop of a hat, even if I think she is asleep, she is ready to defend her food. Bobba stands guard and eventually Grayson walks on up and gets all the water he wants.
Life with two pets is never boring.

6th week
I weighed in this morning and found that I lost .8 pounds this week. YAY me!!! That puts me at a total of 8.0 pounds. :)
I only have about 11 more to meet my goal. Once I hit that target I will concentrate on maintaining my weight again. I was able to keep it off for a few years the last time I lost weight and I am sure I can do the same this time. :)

I did it!!!!
The cat, Grayson, has settled in nice. He is a year old and so laid back. Even the five pounds of canine fury that Bobba is doesn't rattle his cage. I think it helps that he is twice her size. I think I made the right choice with him. :)

Another night at Karate lessons
Tonight in Karate class, the kids were learning to push through tiredness and fatigue and still be strong and focused. The teachers basically wore them out. Kick after kick, punch after punch, running in between, frog jumps, duck walks, bear walks, push ups, jumping jacks, you name it they did it.
After they got the kids all sweaty and worn out, they set up an obstacle course. At the end of the course a pad was set up for kicks. They had to kick at the pad, barely touch it, but not knock it over. If it got knocked over, everyone had to do push ups. They must have done atleast 50 push ups if not more.
On the way home, Brandon was talking non-stop about how much fun it was. He said, "Mom, I did a lot of push ups. I am getting stronger but I STILL have all this skinnyness."
